Working from the kitchen table or the spare bedroom doesn’t cut it. A dedicated backyard office gives you a space that’s designed for focus — separated from the noise and distractions of home, but just steps from your door.
Our backyard offices are built to the same quality standard as our tiny homes and modular granny flats. Fully insulated, air-conditioned, and wired for power and data — these are not garden sheds. They’re proper workspaces.
What’s Included
Every office is designed to your requirements. We work with you on layout, cladding, roofing, windows and internal fit-out. Common inclusions are split-system air conditioning, LED downlights, double power points, data outlets, and your choice of flooring — timber, vinyl plank, or polished concrete.
Built-in desk joinery is available if you want a fully integrated setup. We can also incorporate storage cabinetry, a small kitchenette, or an ensuite bathroom for a truly self-contained workspace.
Class 10a — Simpler Approvals
Backyard offices are classified as Class 10a non-habitable structures under the National Construction Code — the same category as garages and garden sheds. In most Queensland councils, a compliant office under a certain size and setback will be accepted development, meaning no development application required — just a building approval.
We recommend checking with your local council or a building certifier for your specific property, but in most cases the approval process is significantly simpler than for a dwelling.
Fast Delivery
Our modular construction method means your office is built in our Noosaville factory while your site is being prepared. Total time on your property is approximately two weeks — one week before delivery for foundation work, and one week after for connections and fit-out.
